·         Jul’06: Participated in CME Muslim Family Day at Canada’s Wonderland.  Over 7000 Canadian Muslims in attendance, live concert with “Aashiq al-Rasul” (UK) and “Raihan” (Malaysia)

·         Jul’06: ‘Unlocking the Secret Powers of the Holy Quran’.  A unique and intensive two day seminar offered by the ASFC Chairman as an introduction to Islamic spirituality

·         Jul’06: ‘PBS Documentary:  ASFC Chairman asked to participate in a PBS documentary

·         Sept’06: ASFC Condemns Pope Benedict XVI's "Irreligious Statements"

·         Oct’06:   ASFC joins ISCC to appeal to Canadian citizens and Citizenship and Immigration Minister to prevent extremist American Christian evangelist, Reverend Franklin Graham from entering Canada

·         Oct’06:   ASFC issues a nation-wide alert, warning Canadians that Al-Qaida is planning to directly attack Canada.  ASFC Chairman Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin expresses his doubts about the reach of CSIS and urges Canadians to support the ASFC and its activities and endeavors
