In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. Peace and Salutations be upon His Messenger
Organization
Background
The Al Sunnah Foundation of Canada is a non-profit Sunni Muslim
organization. By sect, it belongs to the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah and by Madhab
it proliferates the Hanafi school. In conduct, its Board of Directors are
initiates of Tasawwuf (Sufism). Scholastically, as an organization, its
background is Maturidi and in Sulook, Naqshbandi and Qadiri-rather it accepts all Sufi
Orders. In essentials and beliefs, the organization follows Imam Abul Hasan
Ash'ari and Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi, in sub-principles Imam Abu Hanifa.
The ASFC was founded and works under the direct Ijazah (Islamic
Investiture, Licence) of Mawlana Shaykh As Sayyid Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani,
al Hanafi; the Grand Mufti of Turkish Cyprus
and operates under the supervision of his Deputy Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin.

ASFC Mission
In more detail, the mission of ASFC is to promote and preserve peace. For
the advancement and achievement of this goal, the ASFC strives to establish
within the Canadian Muslim community, in the English language, enlightenment,
spirituality and the peaceful message of Islam through the teachings of the
Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah, as practiced throughout the history of the Muslim
world by the actual Salaf and Khalaf ie. the Sahabah and Tabi’een and
Taba Tabi’een and make evident to the Ummah the clear difference between the
teachings of the original Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah and the
violent heretical Khwarij imposters like the Salafi Dawa, Ahlul Hadith and the Wahabi
sects.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessing be upon him said, "…and every newly
invented matter is bid'ah, and every bid'ah is misguidance, and every
misguidance is in the Hellfire” (an-Nasa'i); and so the aim of establishing the
ASFC in the Muslim community is to spread knowledge of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah and to help
steer the Ummah clear of the foremost innovators of this era, the Wahabi
and Salafi heretics.
These widespread beliefs of the foremost innovators of this era
are bringing more curses and calamities upon the Ummah and causing more
difficulties to it throughout the entire world then those inflicted on it by its
sworn enemies.
Islamic Obligation to Oppose the Wahabi and Salafi
Extremists
The duty to enjoin in good and forbid evil (Al-Amr
Bil-Ma'rufWal-Nahy 'Anil-Munkar) is an ordained duty for every capable
Muslim. Lady Aishah (Radiallaho Anha) has reported, "the Prophet (Sallallaho
Alaihi wassallam) came to me and I could read from his countenance that
something extraordinary has happened. He did not utter a single word but, having
performed ablution went straight to the Masjid. I stood by the wall of the
Masjid to hear what He had to say. The Messenger of Allah ascended the pulpit
and after the usual exordium said “O people, Allah has ordained you to enjoin
the good and forbid the evil, lest a time should come when you call and He may
not respond, you ask for a favor and He may not grant it, and you call for help
and He may refuse, He then came down from the pulpit” (Ibn Majah)
Thus, the task at hand is to ensure the second generation of English speaking
Muslim youth are taught the difference between the peaceful message of classical
Islam and the violent message of the Wahabist
Khwarij extremists who seek to distort it.
The vast majority of the religious scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah (Sunni
Islam) labeled
the Wahabis and their 'spiritual children' the Salafis (and their
theological associates (ie. as organizations: ISNA, MSA, Hizb ut Tahrir, Al
Maghrib etc.))
as the 'Khwarij' and as such, ruled that all of the Ahadith which
refer to the Khwarij can legally be applied to the Wahabis and their 'spiritual
children' as well.
In Light of the Sunnah
The following Ahadith are cited in the Six Books of authentic traditions for
the most part. They have been collated for the most part from the following two
books written in refutation of the Wahhabi heresy:
A)al-Sayyid al-`Alawi ibn Ahmad ibn Hasan ibn `Abd Allah ibn `Alawi al-Haddad:
Misbah al-anam wa jala' al-zalam fi radd shubah al-bid`i al-Najdi al-lati
adalla biha al- `awamm ["The Lamp of Creatures and the Illumination of
Darkness Concerning the Refutation of the Errors of the Innovator From Najd
through Which He Had Misled the Common People"] published 1325 AH.
B) al-Sayyid Ahmad ibn Zayni al-Dahlan (d. 1304/1886). Mufti of Mecca and Shaykh
al-Islam in the Hijaz region of the Ottoman state: Khulasat al-kalam fi bayan
umara' al-balad al-haram ["The Summation Relating to the Leaders of the Holy
Sanctuary"] (A History of the Wahhabi Trial in Najd and the Hijaz) p. 234-236.
The Prophet, upon whom be peace, had already predicted their appearance in many
Ahadith. Among them:
`Ali sent the Prophet a treasure which the latter began to allot. The Quraysh
became angry and said: "He is giving to the nobility of Najd and excluding us!"
The Prophet said: "I am only trying to win their hearts over to us." Then a man
came with deep-set eyes, protruding cheeks, big forehead, profuse beard, and
shaven head. He said: "Fear Allah, O Muhammad!" The Prophet replied: "And who
shall obey Allah if I disobey him? Does Allah trust me with the people of the
earth, so that you should not trust me?" One of the Companions, Khalid ibn Walid
asked permission to put to death the man but the Prophet did not give it. He
said: "Out of that man’s seed shall come a people who will recite the Qur’an but
it will not go past their throats. They will pass through religion the way an
arrow passes through its quarry. They shall kill the Muslims and leave the
idolaters alone. If I live to see them, verily I shall kill them the way the
tribe of `Ad was killed [ie. all of them]."
Another narration states, "The Khawarij are the dogs of Hell-fire."
Also, the following Ahadith are cited from the Six Authentic Books of traditions
for the most part. They have been related in refutation of the Wahabi heresy:
"There will be a colossal turmoil within my Community. There will not remain one
house of the Arabs except that confusion shall enter it. Those who die because
of it are in the fire. The harm of the tongue in it will be greater than that of
the sword."
"A people will come out at the end of times, immature, foolish and corrupt. They will hold the discourse of the best of creation and recite the Qur'an, but it will not go past their throats. They will pass through religion the way an arrow passes through its quarry. If you find them, slay them, for verily whoever slays them will have his reward from Allah the Day of Judgment."
"A people that recite the Qur'an will come out of the East, but it will not go past their throats. They will pass through the religion (of Islam) like the arrow passes through its quarry. They will no more return to the religion than the arrow returns to its course. Their sign is that they shave (their heads)."
"There shall be in my Community a dispute and a division, a people with excellent words and wicked deeds. They will read the Qur'an, but their faith does not go past their throats. They will pass through religion the way an arrow passes through its quarry. They will no more return to the religion than the arrow returns to its original course. They are the worst of human beings and the worst of all creation. The one who kills them or is killed by them is blessed. They summon to the book of Allah but they have nothing to do with it. Whoever kills them is closer to Allah than they. Their sign is that they shave (their heads)."
"Harshness and dryness of heart are in the Najd, and true faith is amongst the people of Hijaz."
"The two horns of the devil (shaitan) shall rise from Najd." Ulema have stated that the “two horns” refer to Musaylima the Liar and to Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, the founder of Wahabism.
When Ali killed the Khawarij, someone said: "Praise be to Allah Who has defeated them and relieved us from them." Ali replied: "Verily, by the One in Whose Hand is my soul, some of them are still in the loins of men and they have yet to be born, and the last of them shall fight on the side of the Antichrist (against Al Mahdi and Jesus)."
"They recite Qur'an and regard it in their favor but it is against them."
And All Victory Comes From Allah.
