A Reply to AICP's Outrageous Precedence for water over the Light of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)

The "Association
of Islamic Charitable Projects" teach that the first thing
which Allah created was"water" and not the Nur of
the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (see AICP
website,

A. The true and correct beliefs of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah
all over the world, and particularly the Indo-Pak sub continent
is that the
Light of the Prophet was in existence before everything else
from Allah's creation, including water. This is the correct
belief of the true Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah and the Awliya of
this Ummah. Imam Ahmed Reza Khan (r) was also of this
opinion. Even Ashraf Ali Thanwi Saheb, in his book, Nashar al-Tibb
on page 6 cites as his own belief the famous Hadith of Jabir:
"The first thing that Allah created is the Light (Nur) of the
Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him". Therefore, it is better if
you stick to these beliefs as oppose to those you mentioned to
us.
